A fiber farm, built in order.
Greener Pathways starts in a garage in Eastern Iowa because livestock is not an option at the current house. The 50/50 processing deal is the first working step, not the whole picture.
Now — prove the work at home
Take incoming fleeces, process them by hand, keep half the finished yarn, and show the queue in public. Build trust and a small stash of saleable yarn at the same time.
Next — finish the garage studio
Ashford Kiwi spinning wheel (purchasing next week), then a Panda 3200 RPM spin dryer and a wool picker so wash-and-card days keep up with incoming boxes. The GoFundMe is aimed at this layer.
Then — land near home
Rural ground in the Durant / Muscatine area where animals and a workspace can actually live.
Then — family place and fiber animals
Room for the household, then sheep and alpacas whose fleeces stay in the same hands from pasture to yarn.
Later — a small mill and shop
More than a garage. Custom processing for other farms, yarn of our own, tools, and teaching.
How you can watch it happen
The Queue shows the work in the building.
The Equipment page shows what is in the room and what is next.
The Support page is the donation door.
This is a step-by-step plan, not a promise with a date on it. Each layer gets named when it is actually next.
